1plus1hosting is located in the SmartDC datacenter in Rotterdam. The datacenter, SmartDC "Dataport of Rotterdam", has space for 3000 m2 data space and is located in the new expedition building of the Van Nelle factory complex. The network consists of only the best connections like: AMS-IX, Global Crossing, HighWinds, Telia, Level3, Abovenet, etc.

The total capacity of the network is currently around 44.000 Mbit. The network has been setup fully redundant via the routers and our own core switches. That's why we can guarantee a 99,9% network uptime. All switches in every rack also have 2 uplinks to guarantee a very good uptime for our clients.

The datacenter contains a total power distribution of more than 12 Megawatt on the 23 kV network. This enormous power capacity in combination with 3000 m2 space, gives us enough options to expand. All racks can utilize a total of 2x 32 ampere power connections: 1 connection to the no-break, behind the UPS, and 1 connection to the short break, not on the UPS. Every suite has been equiped autonomously with own airco units, own gas extinguish and seperate fire detection units.
